New To Church

I am new to London and want to visit church, what are the ministries in this church ?

Please visit our “connect with us” page in this website for information about our ministries. Our members are based out of various parts in London, chances are we may already have members from your neighbourhoud, who can help you integrate in our ministries. 

Once in the church, please feel free to come and speak to our Vicar, Secretary, Treasurer, Trustees or any member from the church. They will be able to introduce you to your local regional unit (called “Kudumba Units”) secretary, our Vanitha Samajham (women’s unit) as well as Sunday school leads to help you understand the spiritual and social activities of the church. 

What is the language of the service?

Our service which is on every Sunday at 9:30 am is in Malayalam language (Kerala, India based language). We have books available in the church with songs in both malayalam and mangalish (malayalam in english script).

What should I wear?

Our members wear all choice of cloths from ethnic Indian dress (like Kurta, Mund, Saari or Chuidaar) to any casual or formal cloths. Please feel free to come in your usual casual clothes and you will fit right in. 

Will I have to sing?

No, we won’t mind if you’d rather just listen! Words are provided, and you can sing along if you feel comfortable. 

Do I need to make a donation?

In the end of the service there will be offertory collection. This is an opportunity for our regular congregation members to give financially to the church in worship of God. Any donation is optional and you may chose to use one of our donation envelopes to enable us to claim GIFT AID on your behalf.

How long does the service last?

Our service lasts between 2 and 2 1/2 hours (including a talk of 15-30 minutes), and we serve free traditional Indian lunch afterwards (on almost all week), sponsored by our members 

How can I become a member of the church ? 

Our church membership is based on our by-laws, please feel free to speak to our Vicar or Secretary regarding the same during your visit

What is the membership fees and modes of payment ? 

Our membership fees are set during the Annual General Body Meeting, Please feel free to speak to our Vicar or Secretary regarding the same during your visit. 

Membership fees as well as any other donations are accepted by Cash or Cheque to the treasurer or by bank transfer/direct debit to the bank account. Additionally we also now have new modes of accepting donation, please visit our Give page for more information.
